Hill Stations Around Delhi

Since the season time is very close and all you people would like to explore the hill stations in the months of April, May and June, I thought it will be a good idea to highlight Hill Stations around Delhi. Though there a lot of Hill Stations but we will pick up Hill Stations in Uttaranchal which are in a radius of 400 kms from Delhi and fall in Uttaranchal.

Hill Stations in Uttaranchal:

1. Nainital: Nainital is one of the oldest hill stations of North India. Discovered by the British, Nainital's popularity has grown over the years and today Nainital is the famous hill station of Uttaranchal. A very good resource on Nainital Tourism will tell you everything About Nainital.
2. Naukuchiatal: Tucked in a forest, this mighty blue lake is only 25 kms from Nainital. Read everything on Naukuchiatal Blog.
3. Mukteshwar: Mukteshwar is only 60 kms from Nainital and a beautiful Hill Station. You will not find too many tourists here and the place offers magnificent views of the Himalayas.
4. Kausani: Kausani is about 100 kms from Nainital and famous for the Gandhi ashram and famous for breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Sun n Snow Inn is a beautiful hotel and comes under the boutique hotel category.
5. Ranikhet: Ranikhet is only 65 kms from Nainital and famous for its Golf Course. Its a cantonment and also famous for its Heritage Buildings. Hotel West View is a heritage hotel in Ranikhet.
6. Mussoorie: Mussoorie is also known as the Queen of Mountains. This small hill station around Delhi is very famous for its Mall Road and Kempty Falls.
7. Kanatal: Kanatal is only 50 kms from Mussoorie and is a beautiful forested Hill Station. People who want to stay away from Mussoorie's hustle and bustle, should consider Kanatal.
8. Lansdowne: Lansdowne is in fact one of the closest Hill Stations around Delhi. It is upcoming and the Chaukhamba Peak views are simply awesome from Lansdowne.
